Celebrating 50 years, Wessex style!

Hosting a garden party in the good old British summer time usually involves a great deal of crossed fingers (and toes) that the rainclouds will stay away. Little did we know that we would be celebrating 50 years of Wessex Translations in the midst of a heatwave!

With plenty of Pimms to keep everyone cool, it was lovely to mingle with past employees and friends whilst trying to find some much-coveted shade. To be able to celebrate our milestone in person, with so many who have contributed to the success of Wessex over the years was very special indeed.

It’s a fairly well-known fact that the Wessex team marches on its stomach and so naturally there was plenty of food on offer! We enjoyed some great Thai food, from a very cute red truck, as well as some classic party staples and local Romsey cinnamon buns. Later on Jonathan, Robin and Paul were surprised with a delicious cake to mark the occasion.
